Mobile and Wireless Content Google has now added IMAP support to their Free email service - Gmail.com. Google recognizes that many small businesses rely on their Gmail services for their business operations. Google also recognizes that many of its mail service users use mobile devices to send and receive their email. IMAP, or Internet Message Access Protocol, lets you download messages from Gmail's servers onto your computer so you can access your mail with a program like Microsoft Outlook Express or Apple Mail, even when you aren't connected to the Internet. Palm OS users will love it with Versamail, Chatteremail, Snapperemail and Sprint Mobile Mail. iPhone users can use this new service as well. IMAP creates a constant connection between mail clients (desktop and/or mobile) and Gmail which establishes a What You Have in your Gmail is What You See on your desktop, mobile phone and web browser.

X.com was founded by Elon Musk in March 1999, initially as an Internet financial services company.
